AfroHealth Inc. operates strictly as a Business-to-Business (B2B) licensed Pharmaceutical Distributor.
We ONLY accept pharmaceutical donations from licensed healthcare facilities, pharmacies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and authorized wholesalers.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT medication donations from individual patients or the general public under any circumstances.
All donated medications must comply with the District of Columbia Board of Pharmacy regulations, FDA guidelines, and the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA).
All donated medications must be non-expired, sealed, untampered, and in their original manufacturer packaging.
Prohibited Items: AfroHealth Inc. strictly does not accept, and donors must not send: narcotics, controlled substances, expired medications, short-dated medications (unless explicitly pre-approved), medications requiring refrigeration (from non-manufacturer sources), or opened/used patient prescriptions.
AfroHealth Inc. reserves the absolute right to refuse, return, or responsibly destroy any donation that does not meet our safety, regulatory, or quality standards.
By donating, the donating institution certifies that it is the rightful and legal owner of the donated products, that the products have been stored under appropriate temperature and safety controls, and that the transfer is lawful.
Upon acceptance and receipt by AfroHealth Inc., donations become the property of AfroHealth Inc. to be distributed at our sole discretion to our network of vetted safety-net providers.
Donated medications will be distributed to licensed safety-net clinics, community health centers, and authorized healthcare providers to treat uninsured and underinsured patients.
AfroHealth Inc. distributes these medications at no cost to the receiving clinics.
Donating organizations will not receive financial payment, reimbursement, or compensation from AfroHealth Inc. for donated products.
AfroHealth Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. While donations may be tax-deductible, AfroHealth Inc. does not provide tax or legal advice. Donors should consult their own tax advisors regarding the valuation and deductibility of their corporate donations.
AfroHealth Inc. is not responsible for any issues arising during the transit of donations prior to AfroHealth taking official chain of custody.
The donating institution agrees to indemnify and hold harmless AfroHealth Inc., its board, and its staff from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the donation of non-compliant, unsafe, or misrepresented products.
